DAVID HAMILTON
David Hamilton is a UK-based conductor working across orchestral repertoire, education projects, and pops programmes. His work includes collaborations with community, youth, and training ensembles, alongside guest conducting engagements with symphony orchestras, wind orchestras, and brass bands all over the UK.
David studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, graduating with a BMus(Hons) and MMus, and holds the LRSM in Conducting. His conducting development has been supported through further study and masterclasses with Mark Heron, Clark Rundell, Garry Walker, Tim Redmond, Rob Wiffin and Robin Browning.
A passionate educator throughout his career, David is the Head of Wind & Brass at Oundle School and works extensively with county, youth and school ensembles as a conductor and coach.
As professional musician, David has performed with the BBC Philharmonic, Manchester Camerata, Ulster Orchestra, and the Orchestra of Opera North.
