A dynamic conductor with a passion for education, David has a warm and collaborative approach to music-making that keeps him in high demand with ensembles of all ages and abilities.

Currently Head of Wind & Brass at Oundle School, his background in performance combines his education at the Royal Northern College of Music, a successful career as a freelance orchestral musician, and service as a Bandmaster in the Royal Corps of Army Music.

Equally at home with symphony orchestras, wind ensembles and chamber music, David’s work takes him around the UK with student, amateur and professional ensembles alike.
